Cute teen devotional that is easy to read and navigate. The devotions are practical and written in a way to encourage the teen. Light and easy to read and just enough teaching for dippers. Source

Warning: This information is potentially life changing.

I don’t make this kind of wholehearted recommendation very often, but if there’s any book you need to read WITH your teenager, this is it!!! in case I didn’t make that clear enough, let me reiterate…..A Teen’s Guide to the 5 Love Languages holds the kind of information that can impact a person in all areas of life, no matter their age. There were so many pages of the book that I wanted to dog-ear and shove in my pre-teen daughter’s face. That wouldn’t be a display of love, though. Instead, I have been following the suggestions in the book and modeling the love languages for my kids. And, hey! It works!! Read my full review at Savings in Seconds. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Opinions shared are mine. Source

The Manual to Manhood – How do you change a tire? Plan a date? Apply for a job? Write a cover letter? Whatever questions teenage boys are faced with, this book is packed with generous advice in a godly fashion.

Loved it!!
This review was written for Can You Relate? How to Handle Parents, Friends, Boys, and More. I absolutely love this book! I originally got it to read for later since my daughter wasnt in the targeted age group of 9-12, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that most of the book was already relevant for her. In fact, I plan to use the book as a tween-friendly tool to discuss the various topics that the book covers. It is divided into the four sections entitled Friends, Family, The World Around Me, and God. The sections are cleverly divided by differing color schemes to make finding the section youre looking for easy. Source

AHA Student Edition: The God Moment That Changes Everything – In the AHA Student Edition, teens will discover the power of the Holy Spirit, how to apply God’s teachings to everyday life, and staying grounded in God’s word. I am a mom of five beautiful children. Some periodicals and some “older bros”. I pray that God would continue to give me the heart and Grace needed as I watch my adult children grow in the path He has laid out for them. Source

The Case for Grace Student Edition – This amazing book is written about the truthful story of Lee Strobel, and his journey from atheism to Christianity, and the amazing power of God’s light in his life today. Anyone can be radically changed when in the midst of God’s forgiveness and grace no mater where you are, or where you come from.

Lee Strobel tells it like it is and I like that about him. He gives you his own personal account of his search for grace. It is a no holds barred account which will leave you turning page after page just to see how he handled each situation. We need truth tellers such as he to give us these accounts because I believe these accounts are what people cling to and these will win them for Christ. Source
